Annual General Meeting 2023

In accordance with the Rules of Association, notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting 2023
of the Radio Amateurs Old Timers Club Australia Inc to be held at 2.00 pm AEST (0400 UTC) on Thursday, 21st September 2023 and conducted by video conferencing using Zoom.

Business: Confirm minutes, receive the annual report of the committee, adopt accounts, set the membership fees, and elect committee members.

RAOTC members who wish to participate in this AGM will need to register beforehand by sending an email to raotc@raotc.org.au no later than Thursday, 14th September 2023. Those who register will receive an email prior to the AGM advising of the Zoom meeting ID number and the password to enable them to join the AGM, plus the AGM 2023 reports. The committee trusts that Victorian country and interstate RAOTC members will take this opportunity to actively participate in the AGM.

Melbourne September 2023 Luncheon

The Melbourne September 2023 Luncheon of the Radio Amateurs Old Timers Club Australia Inc will take place from 12.00 noon (for a 12.30 pm start) on Thursday, 28th September at the Caulfield RSL, 4 St Georges Road, Elsternwick, Victoria.

The guest speaker at the luncheon will be Peter Wolfenden VK3RV who will present a talk and PowerPoint presentation about ‘The Leading Lights and Bright Sparks of the Melbourne City Power Supplies’.

The Caulfield RSL offers a two course meal at a cost of $36.00 per head. Tea and coffee will be available for free. Soft drink, wine and other drinks can be purchased from the bar. Off street parking is available.

Perth Luncheon

Note the new venue - the Woodbridge Hotel, East Guildford

The popular and well attended monthly luncheons for RAOTC members and friends in and around Perth are held on the second Tuesday of each month. The VK6 RAOTC group have a new venue, the Woodbridge Hotel, East Guildford
.
We will meet at 11.30 am for lunch at 12 midday. This is not a buffet meal, but excellent food, in both pensioner and standard portions, are available. We would like to place the orders at 12 midday so please don't be late.

We would appreciate as many of you as possible attending as we have booked for 20 with provision for more if needed. The rail passes 250 metres away and the station to disembark is East Guildford with a short walk over the railway crossing to reach the pub. Plenty of parking in the carpark and in Water St ( known as Bushmead rd if coming from the east)

Other venues are always open to consideration; however It is important that any new venue is very close to a railway station for those who come from Mandurah and South Geraldton.
